Jackson Hogg are delighted to be partnering with our client for the appointment of an Engineering Manager on a permanent basis. This is a great time to join a company who are investing and embarking on some exciting new projects this year across CAPEX and CI.
We are looking for someone who can manage a small, driven team creating an effective and efficient engineering function which supports maximum operational effectiveness and efficiency of the site plant, equipment and systems. You will also get to be part of the CAPEX projects and strategic development across the business.
Job Description
* Ensuring autonomous maintenance is adhered to
* Ensuring lean manufacturing processes and changeover of plant are optimised with Operations Team on a day-to-day basis.
* Conducting RCAs to ensure KPIs are delivered.
* Managing OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) from Downtime / uptime perspective in union with Operations.
* Management and reporting of all relevant business KPIs.
* Develop staff to maximise productivity, teamwork, flexibility of skills and positive attitudes which will in turn inspire and motivate employees to perform at their best.
* Management of facilities, service contracts and legislative procedures
Skills Required
* Degree Qualified or time served
* Previous experience in a management role
* Management of multi-disciplinary teams
* FMCG, Food or Packaging background
* Management of Legislative and Audit procedures
* Operational understanding
