Lead Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Harrow, HA2 Salary: Up to £70k Bonus Benefits Hours: 40 hours/week, shift flexibility required About the Role Bolt Technical are hiring for our client, a leading manufacturer supplying global brands in over 100 countries, including applications in motorsport, automotive, and military industries. As a Lead Production Maintenance Engineer, you will take ownership of the maintenance function, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all machinery across the manufacturing facilities. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will organise, coordinate, and lead a small team of engineers, driving performance, prioritising workloads, and supporting production, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Youll be part of a small, supportive engineering team within a friendly, family-oriented company, with the opportunity to make a real impact on day-to-day operations and team development. Key Responsibilities Lead, organise, and prioritise the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficiency. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for bottling, filling, capping, labelling, and packaging machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime. Assist with installation and commissioning of new production equipment. Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure high-quality output and compliance with specifications. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory of spare parts. Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all engineering activities. Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to engineers, operators, and colleagues on equipment use and maintenance. Support continuous improvement projects and drive operational enhancements.
