Overview
We are proud to be one of the leading gingerbread manufacturers in the UK through our brands Original Biscuit Bakers and Billingtons Gingerbread. We are looking for a Robot Biscuit Decorator to join our team. You will be responsible for operating our state of the art robotic icing system and adding those finishing hand icing touches to create beautifully decorated biscuits. You'll ensure every treat is picture perfect while keeping our decorating process smooth and efficient.
Salary/Hours of Work:
* Monday to Friday Night shift working 10pm to 6am.
* Starting salary is £14.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing full operation of the decorating robot and associated process
* Filling/refill robot with icing, change icing as required
* Setting appropriate programme for robot production
* Strip robot for cleaning and reassembly of robot
* Icing on biscuits / decorating products via visual samples. (full training and sign off will be given on icing process).
* Ensure quality checks are completed and standards are met.
* Work station paperwork completed daily.
* Keep work station and area clean and tidy. "Clean as you go "during the day.
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
* Previous experience of working in a food production/manufacturing environment along with basic health and safety and food hygiene knowledge.
* Artistic/creative flair to be able to hand decorate biscuit products
* Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Good attention to detail and problem solving skills.
