Job Purpose AML Counterparty Management, as part of the ICE Futures Europe (IFEU) Market Regulation department, is responsible for ensuring that the Exchanges and Clearing Houses it supports have appropriate AML/CTF policies, procedures and processes in place to comply with their regulatory obligations. This Senior Analyst role will be responsible for undertaking KYC/AML and sanctions risk assessments on Exchange and Clearing Members. The analyst will be required to review and assess Members' AML systems and controls to ensure they comply with applicable rules and regulations. The analyst will join a very dynamic team, working closely with key stakeholders and will be exposed to unique AML risk scenarios. Responsibilities Responsible for carrying out all aspects of the day-to-day KYC/AML risk management duties including but not limited to CDD/EDD for trigger events, periodic reviews, and new Member applications Review and analyse automated alerts relating to adverse media and sanctions, following internal procedures and escalating to management as appropriate Assist in developing and implementing enhancements to the risk assessment tools, models and processes. Collaborate with colleagues across the business to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of risk management and identification controls Develop knowledge of ICE rulebooks, policies and procedures and apply them effectively to the day-to-day responsibilities. Share learnings and best practices with colleagues and support new team members with relevant training as required Assist in the design and production of management information Participate in ad-hoc project work Keep abreast of regulatory developments that impact ICE and its customers Knowledge and Experience Experience in AML KYC or other AML/ATF and compliance related functions (2 years minimum) Educated to degree level or equivalent (Finance/Mathematics/Economics/Law/Engineering/Science or similar); ICA or CAMS certification desirable Strong knowledge of UK, EU and other anti-money laundering regulations Solid understanding of and interest in financial markets and financial services regulation desirable Excellent written and spoken English and strong report writing skills including the ability to apply independent thought and analysis Proven ability in identifying problems and working efficiently to resolve; works well under pressure and to deadlines Strong team player, also able to work independently and take ownership of issues Strong organisational skills; ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to extract and analyse data and present management information so expert knowledge of or interest in PowerBI, Tableau, Sigma and Monday.com is crucial.
