Working in close collaboration with the newly appointed headteacher and with the support of our Regional Director, we are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and talented Deputy Headteacher; someone with the commitment, knowledge, and skills to lead an incredible staff team in continuing to provide the very best education and outcomes for our pupils.
About the school:
Newbury Manor School is a specialist school for young people aged 7 to 19 with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). The school is located in a Georgian manor house set in extensive grounds with outbuildings in a beautiful, rural location near Frome in Somerset. Our tailored approach means we are able to support young people with a wide range of needs, from those who are broadly average in their ability to others who have more severe learning difficulties.
We provide an environment where young people are offered safe, secure, and predictable surroundings in which they can understand their own areas of difficulty and learn skills and techniques to overcome them. This ensures they are able to fulfill their potential socially, academically, physically, and spiritually, and enables them to build their self-esteem and self-belief.
