Role Summary:
As a Account Handler, you'll play a central role in supporting senior executives. You'll handle mid-market commercial accounts across a range of industries, with premiums typically between £5k–£100k+. This role offers direct client contact, training opportunities to progress into an Account Executive or leadership role, and involvement in new business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and service a portfolio of mid-market clients, ensuring high standards of delivery and client satisfaction
* Support senior Account Executives on larger, complex cases, gaining exposure to new business development and cross-sales
* Oversee the renewal process and handle day-to-day client queries efficiently
* Liaise closely with clients, including attending meetings, to build lasting relationships
* Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team culture
Requirements:
* Acturis system experience
* 3–5 years' experience in a commercial insurance handling role
* Cert CII preferred (or willingness to work towards)
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ambition, willingness to learn, and a collaborative approach
