Title: Fund Accountant
Salary: £75,000 + high % bonus
Asset class: Private Credit

Venator Search is partnering with a leading Private Credit fund to appoint a Fund Accountant into a newly created position within their growing finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to gain broad, hands-on exposure across the private credit platform, working closely with both the front office and external fund service providers.
As a key member of the fund finance team, the individual will be responsible for:
Overseeing third-party fund administrators and tax advisors for allocated funds.
Preparing and reviewing quarterly fund financial reporting packages in collaboration with external administrators, including financial statements, NAV reconciliations & Investor capital account statements
Calculating and reviewing performance metrics such as Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and carried interest.
Coordinating and reviewing capital call and distribution notices across multiple feeder funds and investor currencies.
Preparing and reviewing equalisation and rebalancing calculations.
Collaborating with Investor Relations to ensure timely and accurate responses to investor queries.
Providing input into new fund setup processes including LPAs and other legal documents.
Managing fund audits and reviewing tax filings
The Ideal Candidate
ACA qualified Accountant, ideally obtained through a Big 4 training program.
Significant audit experience in Private Credit or Real Estate funds, with a deep understanding of fund structures and financial reporting requirements.
Strong knowledge of Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), including performance waterfalls and equalisation methodologies.
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy across all aspects of financial and operational work.
