In a crash repair workshop, a Panel Beater plays a crucial role in restoring damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
Here are the day-to-day duties of a Panel Beater Working with our client:
3. Assessing Damage: Inspect vehicles to determine the extent of the damage. Use diagnostic tools and visual inspections to identify areas needing repair.
4. Preparing Vehicles: Remove damaged panels and parts. Disassemble components as needed to access damaged areas.
5. Repairing and Replacing Panels: Repair or replace damaged panels using techniques such as welding, pulling, and straightening. Align and fit panels to ensure proper gaps and flushness.
6. Repairing Structural Damage: Use specialized equipment to straighten and repair vehicle frames and structures.
7. Ensure structural integrity and alignment according to manufacturer specifications.
8. Finishing Touches: Sand, fill, and smooth repaired areas to prepare them for painting. Apply primer and paint, ensuring a high-quality finish that matches the original color.
