Overview
Are you a passionate and patient educator looking to make a real difference in a young person\'s life?
We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to work on a 1:1 basis with a young learner currently in Year 7 who has an EHCP and a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This student is not currently working at age-related expectations and requires tailored support in English, Maths, and engagement in learning.
About the Learner:
* Year 7 student with an EHCP
* Diagnosis of ASD
* Requires support with core subjects and learning engagement
* Needs a nurturing, consistent, and creative approach to learning
About you
* Experience working with neurodiverse learners or those with additional needs
* Strong skills in English and Maths
* Ability to build rapport and trust with young people
* Creative and adaptable teaching style
* Commitment to making learning accessible and enjoyable
Responsibilities
* 1:1 tuition delivered in a supportive environment
* Planning and delivering engaging sessions tailored to the learner\'s needs
* Monitoring progress and adapting strategies as needed
* Working closely with other professionals involved in the learner\'s education

Full time/part-time - Part time - 10 hours per week across 4 days
Hours - Monday to Friday - Flexible dates and timings
Essential & Desirable Qualifications
* Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young people
* Trauma-informed — desirable
Eligibility
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide references upon request
* Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
