Regulatory Solicitor - HSE, Inquests & Investigations Location: Manchester (Hybrid) Salary: £45,000–£57,000 PQE: NQ–3 years A leading regulatory team in Manchester is seeking a Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its expanding practice. Applications are welcomed from newly qualified lawyers up to c.3 years’ PQE. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex and high-profile regulatory matters for major organisations, including FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 clients. Quality caseload of high-profile regulatory and criminal matters The successful candidate will advise on a range of regulatory and criminal matters, including: Corporate manslaughter investigations Health & safety and environmental prosecutions Inquests and regulatory proceedings Responsibilities will include: Supporting and leading inquests and hearings (dependent on experience) Drafting witness statements and legal submissions Reviewing evidence and preparing cases for trial Attending interviews under caution and court hearings Liaising with regulators such as the HSE, CQC and Police Ideal candidate background Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (NQ–3 PQE) Experience in regulatory, criminal, health & safety or motor crime matters (desirable) Strong analytical, drafting and client-facing skills Interest in developing a career in regulatory defence What makes this opportunity standout If you are looking to grow your career in technical regulatory cases, working for global clients and developing thought leadership in one of the most rapidly developing areas of law, then we would like to speak to you.
