3.5 Tonne Driver
Location: Billericay, Essex
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
Role Purpose
To deliver bespoke products within a 100-mile radius of the depot, ensuring safe handling and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure products are safely loaded, transported, and delivered on time
* Carry out all vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
* Complete all paperwork and delivery notes accurately
* Communicate professionally with customers on arrival
* Work alongside a driver’s mate to maintain high standards of customer service
Person Specification
* Previous experience driving 3.5-tonne vehicles
* Experience delivering bespoke or fragile items is advantageous
* Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
* Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points
* Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
