PMLD Teaching Assistant
Location: York (Multiple Sites)
Pay: £14–£16 per hour

Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Day-to-day
Contract: Long-term (with permanent opportunities)
Support pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) to engage with learning and achieve their full potential. You’ll work closely with teachers and therapists to implement tailored support plans.
Responsibilities
1. Provide personalised 1:1 support to pupils
2. Assist with daily care routines and learning activities
3. Implement communication strategies including Makaton
4. Encourage independence and confidence
5. Monitor and record progress for reporting
