An expanding insurance services business is hiring a Claims Team Lead to support a growing operation focused on consumer warranty, mobile device, and electronics-related claims.
This opportunity would suit either:
• An experienced Claims Team Leader looking for broader responsibility and faster progression
• A senior Claims Handler ready to take the next step into people leadership
The role will involve:
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Claims Handlers
• Monitoring team performance across service, quality, and productivity
• Managing workloads, escalations, and operational priorities
• Conducting quality reviews and supporting continuous improvement
• Working closely with internal stakeholders and insurer partners
• Remaining technically involved with a smaller caseload
Ideal background:
• Experience within gadget, warranty, consumer electronics, mobile device, or similar claims environments
• Strong organisational and decision-making skills
• Comfortable working with KPIs, SLAs, and operational reporting
• Proactive and commercially minded approach
• Previous mentoring, coaching, or leadership exposure is advantageous
• Experience within fast-paced or scaling environments is beneficial
