This is an excellent opportunity for a fully qualified accountant to join in a Client Manager capacity, with a clearly defined route into senior leadership.
You will take ownership of a client portfolio, producing high-quality accounts while leading, reviewing and developing junior team members. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and be given both visibility and autonomy from day one.
Responsibilities:
* Take full ownership of a diverse client portfolio, delivering high-quality accounts and consolidations.
* Prepare statutory accounts and provide direct support to Partners to ensure seamless client delivery.
* Review work produced by junior team members, offering clear guidance, constructive feedback and effective delegation.
* Lead, supervise and collaborate closely with junior staff to drive performance and development.
* Work directly with senior management, maintaining strong communication, accountability and delivery standards.
* Take responsibility for budgets across your portfolio to maximise commercial performance.
* Play an active role in the growth and development of the wider practice, with a clear pathway into senior leadership.
* Maintain strong technical and compliance standards in line with professional and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with a solid background in professional practice.
* Demonstrable experience managing a client portfolio and producing high-quality statutory accounts.
* Strong technical capability, including experience with complex accounts and ideally group consolidations.
* Clear leadership potential with the ambition to progress into a senior management position.
* Proven experience reviewing work and supervising the development of junior team members.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
