Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Duties
* Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
* Ensure all areas are well-maintained and presentable, including guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
* Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and garments as required.
* Assist with cooking and meal preparation when necessary, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously.
* Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
* Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
* Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
* Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
* A proactive approach to work with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks efficiently.
