Job Duties:
1. Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
2. Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans
3. Providing one-to-one support to SEN students as required
4. Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
5. Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Required Qualifications:
6. Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
7. Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN
8. Knowledge of SEN support strategies and interventions
Education:
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
Experience:
Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
9. Understanding of the UK education system
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
12. Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting SEN students
Working Conditions:
13. Work primarily within a school setting
14. Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
