Salary: From £30,880 depending on skills and experience
13 Month Fixed Term contract
Hybrid working (office based in Oswestry) – Currently 2 days in the office per week

Your Role:
Are you passionate about social media and ready to make an impact in the dental industry? We’re looking for a Dental Social Media Executive to join our award-winning team and take charge of our social media presence across the Practice Plan Group brands – Practice Plan, Medenta, and DPAS.
You’ll be part of a large, talented creative team that recently won Dental Brand of the Year 2025, working collaboratively to deliver outstanding campaigns. In this role, you will execute our social media strategy to boost visibility, engage customers and prospects, and build trust in our brands.
You’ll manage and grow our profiles on LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, creating compelling content for both organic and paid campaigns. You’ll analyse performance data to optimise results, strengthen relationships with existing clients, and attract new ones. Working closely with media partners, you’ll maximise reach across their social channels and support customer service through social platforms.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube adapting content to suit different channels and audiences with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer and prospect engagement.
2. Using a range of scheduling and creative tools such as Trello, Canva, Post Beyond and Co-schedule, to ensure content is pre planned where possible and posted in a timely fashion to benefit the range of activities taking place within the business as part of the wider marketing strategy.
3. Work closely with the necessary teams to drive awareness pre, during and post key events and against key calendar dates, including, but not limited to, Dentistry Show, Workshop Tour, 3rd party webinars, key focus dates
4. Create captivating and accurate content for all social media profiles and explore how we can capitalise on the wealth of content available for the benefit of our audiences.
5. Create and manage an ongoing schedule of social media advertising campaigns, regularly monitoring their performance and adapting spend where necessary to achieve optimum performance.
6. Work closely with our dental media partners to build and launch social media targeting and retargeting campaigns, capitalising on the expanded reach of our partner social profiles and helping to support the growth of our business.
7. Identify, develop and maintain key relationships with influencers across dentistry to support the social media platforms.
We’re looking for:
8. Experience in integrated content and deployment across channels in a digital environment.
9. Strong social media experience
10. Action-oriented individual with a desire to lead on social media strategies. · Sound business judgement; planning, communication, marketing, and presentation abilities.
11. Ability to establish long-term solid partnerships and relationships both internally and externally.
12. Good knowledge of guideline management and communication processes.
13. Excellent use of Microsoft Programmes, particularly PowerPoint and ability to learn an approvals system.
14. Ability to acquire knowledge, and keep up to date with the latest trends, around AI developments and the marketing landscape and understand key issues quickly.
15. Professional Marketing Qualifications, Digital Marketing Qualifications, marketing degree preferable or demonstrable experience in a social media-based role.
