Join our Service Charges Team!
We're looking for a Finance Assistant to support our Service Charges team on a Fixed Term contract until 31st March .

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate and timely service charge accounting information for the Group. You will also support the Housing Management and Home Ownership teams by ensuring customers receive clear and reliable financial information.
Some of your daily duties are to assist with the production of timely and accurate Service Charge accounts, provide support to customer facing teams for all service charges, and to support budget holders across the organisation in relation to fixed and variable service charges.
Some of the things we are looking for:
* Experience of providing an excellent customer driven service
* Excellent ICT skills, particularly in Excel, with experience using Word and cloud-based technologies
* A good problem solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to establish strong, sustained working relationships based on respect and effective negotiation and influencing skills
* Experience of working within a large finance department and using digital technology within a finance or data driven environment would be beneficial
* Knowledge or experience of housing/service charges is highly desirable
* AAT Level 2 or equivalent experience would be considered desirable
Although this role is home-based, you should be able to travel to Group offices and other locations for meetings as required, approximately once a week, normally alternating between our offices at Birmingham Business Park (Solihull) and Central Park (Worcester).
