My client focuses on searching air freight, sea freight & road freight solutions, which are both cost effective & time sensitive.
Job Description
As a Graduate Sales Account Manager you will be joining a team of Logistics Account Managers, reporting into the Freight Sales Manager. You will be responsible for the following areas in the Leicester office:
* Generating new and existing sales across a broad import, export and freight customer worldwide market.
* Sourcing and creating your own business leads and act on those provided by Sales and Operations Colleagues as well as using other tools given.
* To act as the primary point of contact for quotations and enquiries for ad-hoc business.
* To identify sales opportunities. Profiling all new business to understand intricately how we can support with freight / customs.
* To generate new sales, linked directly to the current business plan. Focus and drive to achieve targets.
* Use the CRM system to effectively record, manage and develop opportunities
* Providing high levels of account management and customer service.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Graduate Sales Account Manager will first & foremost have a passion to join the Sales area of the Logistics & Supply Chain sectors, along with the following extra attributes:
* A Degree (2:1 minimum) - of any categorisation
* Work experience around either the customer service, sales, commercial or logistics & supply chain sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
* A flair for providing high levels of engagement and customer contact to high-value accounts
* The ability to commute to Leicester on a daily basis

* £32,000-£40,000 - Basic Salary
