Are you a passionate, driven Head Chef ready to take the lead in a fast-paced hotel kitchen in one of Cornwall’s most desirable coastal locations?
Working with a strong management team and working within this dynamic hotel group and alongside an experienced Executive Head Chef.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced culinary professional to support the Executive Head Chef in leading a talented brigade and delivering exceptional dining experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives on creativity, quality, and developing high-performing teams.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Lead and inspire the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive Head Chef
2. Support recruitment, training, and performance management
3. Drive creativity through innovative, high-quality menu development
4. Maintain exceptional food preparation, presentation, and consistency
5. Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
6. Manage stock control and ordering effectively
7. Collaborate on seasonal menus and exciting specials
What We’re Looking For:
8. Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef ready to step up
9. Strong leadership skills with a positive and motivating approach
10. Solid understanding of food safety, kitchen systems, and cost control
11. Ability to perform under pressure without compromising quality
12. Hotel experience preferred
