PMO Performance and Insights Manager
Location: Bradford / Hybrid Working (approx. 2 or 3 office days / week) - pending office move to Leeds (LS10), summer 2026
Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Performance and Insights Manager to join the Programme Management Office (PMO) at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Asset Delivery PMO are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
In AMP8, Asset Delivery PMO will support a multi‑billion pound programme of capital investment across YW's clean and wastewater assets. The Capital Programme is growing by over 50% as we move into AMP8.
The Performance and Insights Manager will play a critical role in the successful delivery of the portfolio by leading a team of Asset Investment, and Reporting specialists. You will be responsible for providing the data against which Asset Investment decisions will be made in order to inform business plan budgets. You will track and report insights and trends and monitor the performance of the portfolio against allowances, milestones and regulatory outcomes. You will manage stakeholders at all levels but in particular will be responsible for providing strategic overview and upward reporting of the performance of the programme to the BIC (Business Investment Committee) and other senior stakeholder groups and committees.
Where you fit in
* Lead the PMO Asset Investment and Reporting teams, providing strategic insights for decision‑making, and report on program performance to senior stakeholders
* Be responsible for tracking and reporting the performance of the capital investment portfolio against KPIs, milestones, and regulatory outcomes, ensuring one version of the truth
* Create a high‑performing team, setting targets, and fostering cross‑departmental collaboration to achieve Yorkshire Water's strategic objectives
* Be responsible for the Time, Cost and Quality measures across the programme and provide a single source of the truth for use by all parts of the Capital Delivery value chain
* Work closely with colleagues in the wider Asset Delivery team to service reporting, data and Management Information needs
* Work closely with colleagues in Finance and Strategy and Regulation to ensure reporting to all stakeholders (including our Regulators) is available, coherent and aligned
* Be a trusted advisor to the Head of PMO providing candid feedback and analysis to assist with decision making and strategy
What skills & qualifications you will need:
* The role requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, along with experience in managing complex data and driving process improvements
* Experience as a senior manager with a successful track record of PMO leadership
* The ability to communicate effectively at senior levels
* Ability to influence and drive change throughout the Asset Capital Programme value chain (outside and inside the Asset Delivery directorate)
* Experience of working with complex data
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret, present and communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences
* Driven and passionate about programme performance and associated process improvement
* Good knowledge of Project and Programme Management skills and techniques
