Receptionist Role and Responsibilities
* Meeting and greeting patients, providing a friendly but professional first impression
* Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
* Supporting the management and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
* Making patients aware of dental services and offers
* Handling payments
* Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining client confidentiality
* Assist in reception admin tasks
* Carry out banking duties such as end of day cashing up
* Uphold practice policies, procedures and values
* Manage social media and marketing for the practice
Your Skills and Experience
* Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
* Well-mannered
* Excellent telephone manner
* Previous administration or medical/dental reception experience (3 years preferably but will consider less for the right applicant)
* Personable, positive and enthusiastic with great customer focus
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel)
* Preferred SOE (Exact) Experience
* Strong communication and organisation skills
* Dental nursing experience with active GDC registration highly desirable.
