***ESTIMATOR/SURVEYOR***Are you a detail-driven Estimator or Surveyor with a background in interior fit-out, drywall, or glazing? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing specialist contractor working on high-quality projects across London and the South East.Whether you're already London-based or located in Farnham or nearby towns, this role offers variety, exposure to premium projects, and the chance to work closely with senior leadership in a commercially focused environment.Salary £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) Paid travel to London twice a week (if Surrey-based)Hours 7:30am-5:00pm Monday to FridayAs an Estimator/Surveyor you'll be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates for supply and installation. Ensuring all costs, risks, and opportunities are fully understood at tender stage, supporting strong margin delivery once projects are secured.Beyond tendering, you'll play an active role in project handover, contract administration, and tracking project profitability.Key responsibilities for the Estimator/Surveyor include,
* Review incoming enquiries to assess suitability and alignment with core project focus
* Analyse tender documentation in detail and raise RFIs where required
* Complete electronic take-offs using Bluebeam
* Issue enquiries to the supply chain and analyse returned pricing
* Identify programme and PC dates and align with current workload
* Liaise with the Design Manager to obtain project-specific drawings and samples
* Prepare detailed cost plans using Excel and ERP systems
* Produce tender summaries for internal review
* Complete tender clarifications and submit quotations
* Update CRM systems (HubSpot) with tender values and follow-up activity
* Support the handover of secured projects to the Project Manager
* Assist with monthly applications, variations, and tracking project profitability
* Support preparation of draft final accounts
* Ensure all project documentation is complete and well-organised
The ideal Estimator/Surveyor will need the following,
* Experience as an Estimator or Surveyor within construction or fit-out
* Background in drywall construction or glazing is a strong advantage
* Highly detail-focused with excellent accuracy
* Comfortable working independently or as part of a collaborative team
* Able to manage pressure, deadlines, and multiple tenders
* Proficient in Excel, Word, and CRM systems
* Professional, commercially aware, and eager to develop
