We are ambitious
We’re keen to hear from determined and motivated people like you who are interested in developing their supervisory experience in the world of utilities.
We’re looking for an additional CDM Compliance Manager to join our Integrated Maintenance, Reactive and Developer Services (IMRDS) team supporting our Anglian Water contract.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations across a wide range of works, including water main repairs, maintenance, meter replacements, confined space work, and reactive repairs across the Anglian Water region.
Working alongside Clancy and Anglian Water managers, operatives and sub-contractors, you’ll embed our ‘Safer Every Day’ culture, provide expert CDM and safety advice, and help teams deliver projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Here are some of the activities you’ll be involved in:
* Supporting the IMRDS team to ensure compliance with Health & Safety and CDM 2015 regulations.
* Reviewing and approving design submissions and pre-construction information.
* Coaching front line teams and network technicians to improve RAMS and safe systems of work.
* Completing site inspections, temporary works audits, lifting audits and leadership tours.
* Promoting continual improvement and sharing best practice across the Anglian Water Alliance.
* Supporting quality assurance to ensure installations meet standards and identifying areas for improvement.
* Advising on health and safety risk management and taking part in Principal Designer meetings.
We’d love to hear from you if...
You’re an experienced compliance or construction professional with a strong understanding of CDM regulations and site operations, ideally within the utilities or water sector. You’ll be confident working with a range of stakeholders, from field teams to design engineers, providing coaching, support and practical solutions that keep safety and quality front of mind.
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring solid experience in design and construction management, deep excavation and temporary works, along with a proactive, organised approach. You’ll also hold a full UK driving licence, a valid SMSTS (as a minimum), a CDM qualification and a Temporary Works Coordinator certificate. A First Aid at Work qualification is also required.
Confidence, diplomacy and excellent communication skills will help you influence and guide others effectively. If you also have NRSWA Supervisor, IOSH, Principal Designer training or EUSR/SHEA Water certification, that would be a real advantage.
