Job Description
Job Title: Engineering Coordinator - O&M
Salary: £32K - £38K + benefits
Location: Bristol, hybrid
Why this role
Are you the person who brings order, pace and confidence to busy engineering teams? This is a chance to play a key coordination role in the growth of EV charging infrastructure, supporting the engineers, project teams, suppliers and clients who are helping accelerate the UK’s transition to cleaner transport.
As Engineering Coordinator - O&M, you’ll be at the centre of operations and maintenance activity, making sure schedules are clear, documents are accurate, work orders move forward and compliance records are where they need to be. For someone who enjoys structure, detail and purpose, this is a brilliant opportunity to build a career in renewable energy, electric vehicle infrastructure and smart energy solutions.
What you’ll do
As Engineering Coordinator - O&M, you’ll support field engineering activity across EV charger installations, servicing, reactive maintenance and ongoing operational works. You’ll coordinate daily contractor schedules, track job progress, manage work orders and purchase orders, and liaise with clients and site contacts to confirm access, timings and key details.
You’ll also prepare and manage essential documentation, including RAMS, commissioning reports, test certificates, service records, warranty logs and compliance checks. Working across internal systems and client portals, you’ll help keep information accurate, accessible and audit-ready.
This is a varied role where communication matters. You’ll monitor shared inboxes and service tickets, coordinate meetings and actions, maintain registers and reports, and suggest improvements where better processes could help the O&M team work more efficiently.
About the company
You’ll be joining a leading energy solutions provider working with public sector, education, healthcare, utilities and commercial customers to reduce costs, improve resilience and support decarbonisation. The business delivers smart energy efficiency projects, distributed energy resources and infrastructure upgrades across the UK, Europe and North America.
Its culture suits people who take initiative, enjoy solving problems and want their work to contribute to a more sustainable future.
About you
You’ll bring experience in technical coordination, engineering support, operations administration or a similar role, ideally within electrical, construction, renewables or infrastructure environments. You’ll be highly organised, confident managing competing priorities and comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and SharePoint.
Experience with job management, scheduling or maintenance management systems would be valuable. Knowledge of EV charging infrastructure, BS 7671, IET Code of Practice for EVSE, CDM Regulations, electrical certificates or Power BI would be helpful, but not essential.
Rewards & growth
This hybrid Bristol-based Engineering Coordinator - O&M role offers a supportive team environment, competitive benefits and the chance to develop within one of the fastest-growing areas of the clean energy sector.
