AWS Billing Pricing Analyst, AWS Monetization
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
As an Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting and optimizing the AWS Pricing and Contract ingestion audit team. Your expertise in sales processes, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration will contribute to enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of the Contracts review process. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive process improvements that align with Customer Experience. AWS is a rapidly growing global business, and the Billing organization is crucial in delivering business value by ensuring all custom terms in our AWS agreements are implemented and enforced appropriately. Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct in-depth audits of manually ingested AWS pricing contracts across internal tools and systems.
2. Identify opportunities for automation and partner with Billing Science and Tech teams to implement automated validation in tools.
3. Participate in cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams to improve contract review processes.
4. Implement AI-based tooling and other solutions for effective and scalable contract reviews.
5. Participate in User Acceptance testing for new product and feature launches, ensuring resolution of issues to optimize customer experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of Microsoft Excel experience, Data Analysis and Basic SQL.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience.
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company.
