The role
As a Safeguarding Officer you will provide services across Regenda Homes Region (Fleetwood), managing safeguarding cases from start to finish. You will work alongside the Fleetwood neighbourhood team in order to protect and support our customers, providing advice and guidance around safeguarding matters.
You will also have the opportunity to undertake project work when required. You would be expected to develop strong working relationships with partner agencies and local authorities as well as always treating our customers with diligence, respect and care to help us achieve the best possible support for vulnerable customers.
The right fit
You have or are willing to work towards safeguarding qualifications.
You have experience working in safeguarding preferably in the housing sector.
Must be methodical, accurate and have a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills both written and personal.
You have the ability to query data and information.
You're able to work as part of a team and independently.
Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
