The school supports pupils aged 4–16 with a variety of additional learning needs, including autism, speech and language delay, and social, emotional or mental health needs. You’ll be part of a close-knit, passionate team that genuinely values its support staff. Expect to collaborate with skilled teachers and therapists, learning something new every day and making a difference from day one. Your day-to-day will include: Supporting individual pupils and small groups with learning and social development Helping implement structured routines and behaviour support strategies Providing sensory or communication support where needed Working closely with the SENCO to adapt lessons and track progress You’ll need: A Level 3 qualification (Supporting Teaching & Learning or equivalent) Experience working with children or young people with additional needs A caring, calm and resilient approach If you’re Thrive-trained, brilliant!
