This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a community rehabilitation setting, providing specialist assessment and treatment to patients with new stroke diagnoses. Responsibilities: As a Locum Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing highly specialist assessments and treatment programmes for patients with new stroke diagnoses. You will create appropriate resources for therapeutic intervention and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care. Your role will involve providing community rehabilitation services, fostering a self-management approach with patients and their families, and ensuring effective communication and swallowing interventions. Qualifications and Experience: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy HCPC registration Highly specialist experience in community rehabilitation of patients with new stroke diagnoses Ability to develop and implement specialist assessments and treatment programmes Strong clinical and communication skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to continuous professional development Why work with Pulse?
