Position Details
Job Title: Salaried General Practitioner
Location: The Microfaculty, 107‑109 Chingford Mount Road, Chingford, E4 8LT, London
Contract: Permanent – Part‑time (sessions to be confirmed)
Salary: £11,500 to £12,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload and address a wide range of primary care needs.
* Collaborate with clinical and non‑clinical colleagues to maintain high care standards.
* Contribute to practice planning and decision‑making, encompassing both clinical and organisational duties.
* Provide surgery consultations telephone consultations, home visits, and emergency on‑call care as required.
* Issue and sign repeat prescriptions, manage clinical paperwork, and handle timely correspondence.
* Conduct patient assessments, screen for disease risk factors, develop care plans, and provide health education.
* Prescribe within the Integrated Care Board (ICB) formulary and manage referrals and admissions/discharges.
* Maintain GMC registration, Medical Defence cover and inclusion on a local performers list.
* Participate in audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Follow infection control policies, maintain confidentiality, and comply with health & safety legislation.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* GMC Registration.
* Registered on the National Medical Performers List.
* Membership of a recognised Medical Defence organisation.
* Degree in Medicine.
* CCT in General Practice from a GMC approved course.
* Successful Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
* Ability to communicate clearly, good organisational skills, and a friendly, approachable manner.
* Experience with patient‑centred care and flexible teamwork.
Desirable
* Experience using SystmOne (training will be provided).
* Understanding current issues affecting primary care.
* Specialist interests encouraged.
* MRCGP.

Applicants must hold current UK professional registration. A Disclosure and Barring Service check is required, subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
