Job summary
Essential Experience Minimum 1 year's experience in a logistics and shipping role.
We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Logistics and Shipping Coordinator to join our experienced team. This is a dynamic, client-facing support role combining freight management and events & exhibitions coordination, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving.
To be successful you will need to have excellent customer service and communication skills, as you will be required to engage and maintain relationships with events clients and suppliers from proposal stage to close off. You will need to be good at problem solving, flexible and adaptable to deal with client changes throughout the planning stage, often working to tight and strict deadlines, so organisational skills are key.

Key responsibilities
· Support the events team and clients with the planning and execution of exhibitions and events, including shipping, coordination, and delivery of materials.
· Manage freight and logistics requirements, from small courier consignments to full-scale international shipments.
· Oversee projects from initial enquiry and quotation through to on-site delivery and post-event review.
· Prepare commercial quotations based on client requirements and formally acknowledge confirmed orders.
· Maintain regular communication with clients, providing timely updates throughout each project stage.
· Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
· Ensure all exhibition and event materials arrive safely, on time, and within budget.
· Maintain accurate records within operating systems for shipments, quotes, and project tracking.
· Take responsibility for the financial management of projects, including quoting and invoicing.
· Attend client meetings and site visits as required.
· Provide hands-on problem-solving and make effective decisions under pressure to keep projects on track.
Skills and Competencies
· Excellent customer service, relationship building and communication skills (written and verbal).
· Confident and professional when engaging with clients face-to-face.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· High level of attention to detail and strong administrative capability.
· Commercial awareness and proactive approach to meeting client and business needs.
· Used to working with in-house processes.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude.
· IT skills, including intermediate Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and calendar management.
