About the Role:
Office presence expected twice per week. We are now seeking a Senior Pensions Administrators to join our team, providing top-tier administration for trust-based pension schemes. Responsibilities include guiding team members, checking, verifying tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring compliance with pension laws. Strong communication and proactive support are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Train and support junior team members
2. Verify and authorize team activities
3. Calculate and dispense scheme benefits
4. Maintain membership records
5. Engage in project work assigned by managers
6. Coordinate with clients, actuaries, and third parties
7. Offer verbal and written technical insights
8. Ensure ISO and AAF accreditation compliance
9. Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Your Profile:
Essential:
10. Experience in DB schemes and the pensions sector
11. Organizational skills and a methodical approach
12. Support development of high standards and customer service
13. Effective communication and detail-oriented
14. Proficiency in MS Office
Preferred Qualifications:
15. Strong GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent
16. Ideally A Level education or equivalent
17. Commitment to pursuing pensions qualifications (e.g., CPC/QPA/DPC/RPC/APMI)
Desirable:
18. Decision-making and problem-solving skills
19. Effective delegation capabilities
