Axon Moore are partnering with a fast growing, PE backed business in South Manchester/Cheshire. Due to continued growth they require a commercially astute individual with strong Excel skills to join their exciting team.

Responsibilities
* 1. Financial Reporting & Month-End
o Completion of month‑end close process from start to finish across multiple operating entities
o Production of accurate P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements, with journal posting and maintenance of a full trial balance.
o Support and review sales invoicing process, ensuring the process is completed accurately.
o Take responsibility for the production of audit information and liaise with external auditors to ensure effective completion of the audit process.
* 2. Commercial Insight & Business Partnering
o Present and review monthly financial results, KPI performance, and variance analysis with Business Leaders
o Act as a key finance contact, providing clear and commercially focused financial insight
o Support the FP&A Manager with budgeting and forecasting processes
o Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts, ensuring visibility of short‑ and medium‑term liquidity
* 3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
o Manage debtors and oversee effective credit control procedures
o Oversee banking activities and manage monthly payment runs
o Support weekly cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
* 4. Governance, Controls & Continuous Improvement
o Ensure adherence to Group policies and financial controls
o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy and control
o Support the development, optimisation, and automation of finance systems.
Person Specification
* Advanced Excel skills.
* ACCA/CIMA Qualified/Finalist.
* Solid commercial acumen - business partnering with senior stakeholders.
* Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills.
