Job Description\n\nBank Scrub Practitioner- Blakelands Hospital - Bank Hours\n\nThe Role\n\nTo succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong clinical background in acute surgical care. We are looking for a dynamic and positive individual to ensure the Theatre department is Safe, Effective, Responsive, Caring, and Well Led.\n\nThe successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Theatre team, developing excellent working relationships with staff members, consultants and key stakeholders.\n\nThey will assist in driving sustainable excellence in the safety and quality of care and services.\n\nThey will support the Quality agenda by monitoring achievements against required standards, identifying risks to quality of care and services and planning, recommending /implementing changes for continuous improvement.\n\nWhere you’ll be based\n\nBlakelands Hospital located in Milton Keynes opened in 2006 and is a purpose built day case unit that provides convenient, effective and high quality treatment for patients who are medically insured, self-paying and funded by the NHS. Equipped with an onsite Imaging Department offering X-Ray, Ultrasound and MRI and a dedicated Physiotherapy Unit complete with rehabilitation gym, the Treatment Centre is perfectly designed for orthopaedic care.\n\nEssential experience and qualifications for this role\n\nODP level 3 or equivalent qualification\n\nComprehensive understanding of relevant clinical standards\n\nExcellent organisational and communication skills\n\nSound computer skills and knowledge\n\nA registered member with the HCPC or NMC\n\nStrong Scrub experience\n\nWhat you’ll bring with you\n\nA strong clinical background.\n\nA commitment to the delivery of customer focused services.\n\nExcellent communication and influencing skills.\n\nA proven track record and evidence of successfully delivering a change agenda to enhance quality and efficiency.\n\nExperience and confidence in effectively meeting compliance to the Governance Framework.\n\nComprehensive understanding of relevant legal and professional care/practice standards and evidence of supporting ongoing professional development.\n\nWhat we give back to you\n\nCompetitive hourly rates plus enhancements\n\nFree DBS\n\nContributory pension scheme\n\nExcellent training and development opportunities\n\nFree parking and subsidised staff restaurant (subject to site facilities)\n\nFree uniform\n\nAccess to Blue Light Card\n\nAbout Us\n\nRamsay Health Care UK is a well-established global hospital group with over 50 years’ experience.
