We are looking for a Housing Assistant to support our Tenancy Management team as a temporary role of up to 10 months.
About the role
A Housing Assistant will provide essential administrative support to enable colleagues to spend more time in our communities, supporting residents where it matters most.
Responsibilities
* Keep processes running smoothly behind the scenes
* Help colleagues stay in our communities, supporting residents
* Communicate with customers in a friendly, professional and empathetic way
* Ensure resident voices are heard and reflected in the services delivered
* Occasionally visit estates and work independently on‑site
What We're Looking For
* Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Enjoy working with people and building positive relationships
* Communicate clearly and shows empathy in sensitive situations
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Can work both independently and as part of a team
* Stay accurate and focused, even when busy
* Adaptable, proactive and ready to learn
An understanding of social housing or working with diverse communities is helpful, but what really matters is your commitment to people.
