Dobson Welch are proud to be partnering with a well-established yet growing high street fashion supplier based in Manchester. We are looking for an experienced Merchandise Manager to take the lead in managing key retail accounts and driving continued growth across the business.
The Role
As Merchandise Manager, you will oversee the full merchandising function, managing two direct reports and working closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Technical, and Logistics. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth delivery from concept to store, maintaining strong relationships with key buyers, and maximising sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the critical path and ensure all key dates and lead times are achieved.
Manage sample tracking, order progress, and production timelines.
Liaise closely with logistics to ensure on-time delivery and stock flow.
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, holding regular meetings and reviews.
Negotiate prices and terms to protect margins and drive profitability.
Help identify commercial opportunities to maximise sales and grow key accounts.
Support, mentor, and develop the merchandising team.
About You
Proven and recent experience as a Merchandise Manager, Senior Merchandiser, Account Manager ( with a focus on delivery ) or Buyer within menswear in he UK .
Strong background in Menswear high street fashion
A knowledge of Denim product
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Confident managing critical paths and working collaboratively with multiple departments.
Commercially aware, proactive, and highly organised.
Manchester based and eligible to work in the UK
