Stock Integrity Specialist – Plymouth

Pertemps is recruiting on behalf of their client who, as a result of expansion and ongoing success, is looking for a Stock Integrity Specialist to join their Head Office in Plymouth.
About the Role:
This is your chance to be the guardian of accurate stock. You’ll ensure inventory records are spot-on across all systems, investigate discrepancies, resolve integration issues, and drive improvements that protect margins and keep customers happy.
What you’ll do:
• Prioritise and manage stock-related issues through the ticketing system.
• Investigate root causes of stock discrepancies and integration failures (WMS, ERP, IMS).
• Collaborate with IT, supply chain, and commercial teams to implement fixes.
• Track progress, escalate unresolved issues, and ensure accountability.
• Test and validate system updates before they go live.
• Maintain reconciliation processes and develop new ones as required.
• Analyse databases using SQL.
• Document all fixes, developments, and process changes.
• Support new sales channels and integration projects.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to stock-related change initiatives.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new team members.
Who we’re looking for:
Essential:
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot patterns or anomalies.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with integrated business systems.
• Experienced with ticketing/incident management systems (e.g., Sysaid, ServiceNow).
• Clear communicator, confident collaborating across teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Skilled in documentation and process improvement.
Desirable:
• Experience with WMS, ERP, and retail POS systems.
• Knowledge of margin reporting and inventory valuation.
• Familiarity with new sales channels and integrations.
• Understanding of loss prevention and operational risk.
