MIGWelder (Night Shift) Location: Cheshire Reporting to: Nightshift Manager Hours: Monday Thursday, 7:45pm 6:00am Flexibility required occasional evenings/weekends as business needs demand
About the Role We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our night shift production team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality welded assemblies, working from technical drawings and specification sheets, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
Key Objectives Deliver high-quality welding assemblies.
Read and interpret technical drawings, specification sheets, and weld symbols.
Carry out precise measurements and accurate marking out.
Select correct materials and cut using burning, disc cutting, or machinery.
Responsibilities MIG welding to a high standard.
Use and maintain your own PPE and welding equipment.
Work individually and as part of a team to meet production targets.
Follow clear instructions from team members and senior colleagues.
Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times.
Maintain housekeeping in the production area.
Minimise waste by efficient use/disposal of raw materials and consumables.
Support a safe working environment.
Flexibility to perform other duties as required (full training provided).
Key Skills & Experience This role is suited to a hands-on, organised, and self-motivated individual with:
Manufacturing experience (ideally commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing).
Strong MIG welding skills with mild steel (3mm 20mm).
High-quality assembly experience.
Skilled use of a variety of hand tools.
Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
Proven ability to meet production targets without compromising quality.
