Overview
Lookers Audi Guildford is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join their workshop. Contract Type: Permanent. Salary: £34,000 - £39,000 per annum with an OTE of up to £45,000 and uncapped bonus potential. Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 4:30pm finish. 1 in 3 Saturdays on rota basis. You will work alongside our other experienced technicians, carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and carrying out any additional repairs. You will report to the aftersales manager, with ongoing support to perform to the best of your ability. * Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
* Conducting vehicle services in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and customer requests
* Carrying out any additional repairs once authorised by the customer
* Warranty repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines and ensuring relevant write-up is complete
* Taking the customer’s vehicle out on a road test to ensure faults are rectified
* Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard
Ideal Candidate & Requirements
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a workshop. You should be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn, with the ability to work to the highest standards. You will require a full UK driving licence and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. MOT Licence would be a bonus. Experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
