We are currently seeking a highly experienced, hands‑on, and skilled Event Operations Managerto join our team.

As Event Operations Manager, you’ll lead from the front in delivering exceptional, large‑scale and bespoke events across the estate. From high‑profile conferences to luxury private dining experiences, you’ll ensure seamless execution and exceptional standards at every stage, while driving innovation, efficiency, and team performance.

Working at the heart of the operation, you’ll take full ownership of Conference & Banqueting and Private Dining delivery; leading, inspiring and developing your team, while collaborating closely with colleagues across the estate to ensure every experience is delivered to perfection.

The on target earning potential for this role is £53,363 / per annum – comprising a base salary of £45,063, plus a qualified estimate of £8,300 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Here’s a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role:

* Leading the seamless execution of a diverse portfolio of luxury events, ensuring exceptional delivery at every touchpoint
* Taking full operational ownership of Private Dining and Conference & Banqueting service standards
* Driving innovation across events and dining experiences, identifying opportunities to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency
* Leading, coaching and developing a high‑performing team, creating a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement
* Collaborating closely with culinary, events planning and wider estate teams to deliver cohesive, world‑class experiences
* Overseeing detailed event planning and execution through BEO meetings, ensuring precision and clarity across all departments
* Maintaining rigorous control of departmental resources, including staffing, equipment and cost management
* Acting as a senior point of contact for guests, confidently managing complex requests and resolving challenges with professionalism
* Building strong, influential relationships across the estate to ensure alignment and consistency in delivery
* Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

* You have fantastic experience within a luxury Conference & Banqueting or Events environment, delivering seamless, high‑impact events through meticulous planning, efficient logistics, and cross‑functional team leadership
* A confident and credible leader, you’re adept in inspiring, influencing and developing high‑performing teams
* Commercially aware, with strong organisational and financial management skills
* Resilient and adaptable, you thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment
* Naturally collaborative, with the ability to build strong relationships across multiple departments; you’re also passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences, with a refined and intuitive approach to service
* You’re professional, composed and highly credible, at all times, when engaging with high‑profile and VIP guests
* Working closely with our event contractor partners to keep everything running smoothly and on schedule
* Resilient, and skilled at managing multiple and often competing priorities, you possess a positive, professional, and courteous attitude – with a discerning eye for detail, knowing that fixing the small things can make a big difference
* Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you’re passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
* You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
* A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you’re well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
