Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare a range of traditional Indian and Bangladeshi desserts such as Rasgulla, Rasmalai, Halwa, Sandesh, Cham Cham, and Kheer.
• Follow traditional recipes and maintain authenticity and presentation standards.
• Monitor and manage ingredients such as khoya, ghee, cardamom, saffron, and sugar syrup.
• Ensure hygiene, food safety, and allergen protocols are followed per UK regulations.
• Plan, prepare, and store desserts for daily service, events, and takeaway orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dessert section and assist with junior training if required.
• Assist with dessert menu development and respond to seasonal and bulk catering
