Job Title: Senior Funding and Compliance Officer
As the Senior Funding and Compliance Officer, you’ll be leading and supporting your team to ensure an effective support service and establishing a focal point for the provision of accurate student data. You’ll also be working with a range of stakeholders to provide data management to managers and staff at Colchester Institute.
In this role you will:
•Providing line management effectively in communication, engagement and employee relations matters. You will also need financial resilience for budget management.
•Managing the ILR process ensuring everything meets the requirements.
•Effectively manage the Office for Students, ensuring all data is meeting the requirements.
•Staying up to date with all relevant funding methodologies.
•Ensure that information provided, both internally and to outside bodies, is accurate, complete, relevant and despatched in a secure manner in line with the Data Protection Regulations
•Developing good working relationships with teams across the college to ensure everything runs smoothly
Essential Qualifications:
•Education to level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalent
•Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent
Essential Experience:
•Experience of working with data, including input, interrogation, extraction and reporting.
•Experience of setting, managing and meeting internal and external deadlines.
•Knowledge and experience of MS Office Applications, including Excel
• Experience of researching and examining complex policies and regulations ensuring these are understood and adhered to.
