 
        
        Project Planner – Large-Scale Manufacturing Development (North East England)
Purpose:
To plan, coordinate, and monitor the delivery schedule of a major industrial construction and commissioning project. The role ensures accurate, data-driven programme control across all project stages, supporting timely completion within cost and quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Develop and maintain the integrated project schedule using professional planning tools (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project).
 * Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather progress data and update forecasts.
 * Identify critical paths, risks, and mitigation options to keep the project on track.
 * Produce regular progress and performance reports for senior management.
 * Support change management and assess the time impact of scope variations.
 * Contribute to earned value and performance tracking processes.
 * Ensure compliance with internal project governance and safety standards.
Profile Requirements:
 * Degree or technical qualification in engineering, project controls, or a related field.
 * Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in planning/scheduling major capital projects, ideally in manufacturing, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
 * Skilled in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel-based analytics.
 * Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities.
 * Desirable: exposure to industrial or high-technology construction environments; knowledge of earned value management and digital planning tools.
