We at Work Lyf group are recruiting a Senior Process/Project Engineer for our global client based in Warrington. Must have hands-on experience with hygienic installation Working for a leading engineering and equipment company, the Senior Process/Project Engineer (Pre-Sales & Execution) will report to the Head of Project Execution for Non-Alcoholic Beverages (NAB) and Home/Personal Care (HPC) and will be responsible for the production of designs, technical and commercial proposals and project execution (detailed designs through commissioning). He/She will also project manage small projects and – upon request – support and mentor less experienced engineers. Requirements for the role: Food/Dairy, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in: Leading/Managing Process/Equipment Bids & Proposals Client facing presentations / design-cost justification Engineering and equipment supply for hygienic processes – food, dairy, beverage, pharma or home and personal care Capable of: Independently produce designs (P&IDs, mass/energy balances) from ‘blank canvas’ Independently and accurately calculate process capacities, equipment and piping sizes Independently assess risks and assure compliance to QSHE rules Manage small projects (scope, changes, cost, time & quality) Manage small number of engineers and contractors Support and mentor less experienced engineers Have in depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, formulations ingredients (liquids & solids), technology and equipment suppliers for food/dairy/beverage or home and personal care Excellent communication, presentation and negotiating skills Travelling Travelling: This position will require worldwide travelling, company car and fuel allowance provided after probation period Working hours: Hybrid working after probation period Benefits: * Salary Range: £70k but negotiable based on experience * Bonus * Pension * Company Car or allowance * DIS/GIP (Death in Service Income Protection for long term sickness) * Private Heathcare * 5 days a week in the office during the 6 month probationary period, then some flexibility thereafter (minimum 3 days per week in the office).
