The role As a Tooling Engineer in the Quality Department, you'll create production tools for consistently high-quality Tangle Teezer products following Quality by Design (QbD) principles. Collaborate with Operations, Project Management, and Marketing on tool-related projects for both existing and New Product Development (NPD) tooling. The role includes remote work, weekly office visits, and occasional global travel for project needs. In this role you’ll get to Support the Design for Manufacture (DfM) of New Product Development (NPD) from concept to production, from a tooling perspective. Lead analysis of design, development, and manufacturing of injection moulding tools to improve and maintain product quality and efficiency, while identifying and reducing waste. Manage all tool-related documentation; CADs, SOPs, PRS, and FAT. Lead and manage the implementation of tooling and moulding Corrective Actions. Document and report any deviations observed to the Global Quality Manager. Support the Global Quality Manager with additional tasks where required. Undertake other duties in line with business requirements. What we are looking for in you Strong experience in injection mould tooling and/or plastic injection mould design. Experience with injection moulding process engineering. Proficient computer skills in MS Excel, Word, PPT & Teams required. Experience with Dynamics Navision (ERP) or similar software and eQMS (Electronic Quality Management Systems) are an advantage. Experience in Quality Assurance & Quality Control within retail or consumer-product or beauty sectors is preferred. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multi-functional and international teams. Accountability, flexibility to change, and excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication, time-management, and prioritization skills, especially under pressure.
