Job Opportunity: Sales Manager / Engineer - UK
Are you ready to lead sales growth for a global leader? Our client, one of the largest manufacturers of Ductile Iron (DI) piping, is expanding across the UK & Europe and seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead their operations in the UK.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the water industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading company with a strong reputation and ambitious expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct thorough market research to analyse competitive activity, identify potential growth areas, and understand customer needs.
2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share in the UK.
3. Identify and capitalize on key market opportunities, crafting action plans to penetrate new markets.
4. Expand the customer base by targeting potential clients across the water and utilities supply chain.
Candidate Profile
5. Minimum 5 years' experience in the water or utilities industry, ideally with a sales focus on Ductile Iron Pipes.
6. University graduate, preferably in Engineering or a related field.
7. Strong knowledge of piping systems, including Ductile Iron or alternative materials.
8. Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly within Government or Municipality project sales.
