Location: Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre
Start Date: January- February 2026/ ASAP
Daily Rate: £130 - £260 per day based on experience and role requirements.
Contract: Short-term and long-term assignments available
Tradewind Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Teachers to join our pool of talented educators for the new year. We partner with a range of vibrant primary schools across Blackpool, Fylde, and Wyre who require flexible cover for planned and unplanned absences. This is an excellent opportunity to build your professional network and make a real impact without the constraints of a permanent contract.
The Role: As a daily Primary Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across the primary range (Reception to Year 6). For daily cover, work is pre-planned and provided for you; you will simply deliver and mark before leaving. This is a low obligation role but still requires a Teacher with energy, curriculum knowledge and an ability to not let standards slide while filling in.
For longer-term contracts, you will take on planning and delivery responsibilities. You must be able to adapt quickly to school policies and ensure a supportive learning. environment. These longer term roles will be paid to scale (set by the school). All positions are term time only and allow you to reset and relax over school breaks!
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-planned lessons effectively to ensure continuity of learning.
Adapt teaching strategies for diverse needs and manage classroom behaviour following school policies.
Maintain a professional manner, uphold school ethos, and safeguard pupil welfare.
Communicate student progress effectively with permanent staff.
Requirements:
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and confident behaviour management.
Reliability, professionalism, and a passion for student learning.
Desirable: Experience across EYFS/KS1/KS2 and a flexible approach to local travel.
