Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting for a Chef at Noble House, Worcester. This role is based at Noble House, 1 Oakview Way, Worcester WR2 5FH. Salary: £12.82 per hour. Hours: 37.5 per week. Closing date details are not provided in the current posting.
Support the delivery of a high-quality, versatile catering service for our customers. While the position is referred to as Chef, it is also known as Demi Chef, Line Chef, Cook, Chef de Partie (CDP) and Commis Chef.

Responsibilities
* Deliver a high-quality versatile catering service that caters for our customers.
* Manage the food and labour budget through rota planning, purchasing and control of food supplies to ensure menus can be delivered within budget.
* Receive and amend orders, manage food stock locations and audits; input weekly labour entries and daily cash records within specified time requirements.
* Manage the Food Safety Management System and ensure the team understands and implements it.
* Schedule cleaning and maintenance routines for all food service areas and kitchen equipment to maintain high sanitation and safety standards.
* Carry out risk assessments and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.
* Assist with supervision and development of staff.
Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience of working in a catering environment and cooking for various groups of people is essential.
* Level 2 Diploma in Catering and Hospitality is essential.
* A valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Knowledge of online catering software packages.
* Proven knowledge of health and safety procedures.
* Some experience in setting and managing budgets.
* Friendly and approachable attitude with the ability to interact with customers, visitors and colleagues.
