Overview
Core subject tutoring (Maths, English, or Science) for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs in Staffordshire. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing.

The SEN/SEND Tutor role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
* Students are referred by local authorities and schools and may require holistic support in educational and social-emotional development
* Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Responsibilities
* Plan each teaching/tutoring/mentoring session
* Deliver engaging sessions that meet individual needs and support educational and social-emotional progress
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (assistance available at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* Based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, including for remote/online work
It is a strict requirement to promote health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and to follow safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Status
* Engagement as a Worker with short-term engagements as they arise
* Contract for service; paid via PAYE
* No guaranteed hours or expenses coverage
* Our insurance covers the work you do
* Not a self-employed position
