Job Description
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the coordination, management and delivery of assigned projects. Ensuring they are completed profitably, safely, on time and to an acceptable standard while maintaining strong client relationships is crucial.
This includes planning projects and ensuring they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the scheme without delays. Procurement and reconciliation of materials should be carried out in accordance with Company procedures to best value and prevent delays.
* Project Planning: Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the scheme without delays.
* Procurement Management: Ensure procurement and reconciliation of materials is carried out in accordance with Company procedures to best value and to prevent delays.
* Site Team Compliance: Ensure site team compliance with Company commercial policies and procedures.
* Tender Handover Meetings: Attend tender handover meetings and deliver pre-start meetings to the site team.
Commercial Plan and Risk Management: A commercial plan and end of life forecast should be in place and monitored monthly for the successful commercial delivery of the project. The risk management process should be implemented, reviewing the risk register and checking risk controls.
Progress Reports and Budget: Produce and analyse progress reports, updated costs and forecasts. This information should be used to make informed decisions regarding the project.
Subcontractor Engagement: Ensure correct commercial engagement of subcontractors and implement the risk management process as needed.
Accommodation and Salary: Please note that those travelling from Ireland will receive accommodation, flights and a package. Those local to Bristol will be offered an attractive salary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent project management skills, including experience with planning and coordination. You should also have knowledge of procurement and reconciliation procedures, as well as experience working with sites teams to ensure compliance with Company policies.
A degree in a relevant field would be advantageous, however the key requirement is having the right skills and experience for the job.
